John M. Cunningham Jr.
John M. Cunningham, Jr. is the President of Vehicle Tracking Solutions. The company was founded on May 1, 2002 by John. Under John's leadership, Vehicle Tracking Solutions has become a leading innovator in the fleet tracking industry. In the past four years VTS has doubled its sales each year. Its in-house software development staff continues to create and implement innovative solutions for existing and future clients.
John has been in the wireless industry since he owned and operated a retail cellular phone store located in Nassau County, Long Island. In 1992, John started working as a B2B sales representative for Verizon Wireless.
In November of 2007, VTS introduced a new franchise program, becoming the first and only company in the fleet tracking industry to offer a franchise opportunity.
Vehicle Tracking Solutions has grown to a staff of 35 employees, the majority of whom work out of its Deer Park, NY location, which is approximately 30 miles from New York City. VTS corporate departments include Sales, Business Development, Franchising, Government Contracting, Software Development, Accounting, Hardware Programming and Customer Support. Its full-time uniformed field service technicians drive company-owned and labeled vehicles and dispatch daily to job sites in the New York metro area and beyond.
In addition to its headquarters on Long Island, Vehicle Tracking Solutions has satellite sales offices in Portsmouth, NH. The company currently has over 660 clients tracking nearly 10,000 vehicles in 31 states including Hawaii.
