GPS Vehicle Maintenance
Keeping track of maintenance records for a large fleet can be cumbersome even for the most organized business managers. In our ongoing effort to make our clients' jobs easier, we've added this feature to our services at no additional charge.
As part of our FleetMinder® application, Vehicle Tracking Solutions' clients have the advantage of viewing maintenance records for each vehicle right on their computer screens. This feature lets you easily monitor maintenance thresholds such as oil changes, tune ups, inspections, and more by mileage and/or date.
The thresholds can be customized for each type of vehicle in your fleet. That means you can set up thresholds by groups such as cars, trucks or tractors, since maintenance schedules differ for each type of vehicle. For example, oil change thresholds can be established in 3,000, 7,500 or 10,000 mile intervals.
Once you perform service on a vehicle and reset the service threshold on the maintenance report, it automatically creates a maintenance record that can be viewed in maintenance report/history. This feature also gives you the ability to append previous maintenance records to the history of the vehicle.
