Garmin Messaging
Garmin Messaging allows you to communicate with your drivers directly through Silent Passenger using a Garmin navigation unit mounted in the vehicle. Send messages to your vehicle's Garmin™ navigation unit via Silent Passenger. Drivers can respond with a series of message acknowledgments, canned messages or free entry text. Messages from your drivers appear right in Silent Passenger. Drivers can also set a status, letting the dispatcher know which drivers are available for service calls.




Garmin Routing
The Garmin Routing feature in Silent Passenger allows dispatchers to build routes for their drivers and upload them directly to in-vehicle Garmin devices. Got an emergency call? Send a new stop to your closest driver and the Garmin unit will automatically navigate to this stop from the vehicle’s current location, and will continue the driver’s planned route once this stop is completed.

SpeedGauge
Other GPS tracking companies offer standard speed notifications which only allow you to set a single threshold to monitor speed. These standard notifications do not allow you to monitor the most egregious speeding incidents – those which occur in residential areas. The SpeedGauge notification system in Silent Passenger allows you to see which vehicles are exceeding posted speed limits.
